Community Programs

First Friday’s: Parent’s Night Out

Happening the FIRST FRIDAY of each month, October through June 2025. Pizza, Movie, Craft from Art Always . All children in the community are welcome, regardless of whether you take classes here. Come join us!

Children/Friends (ages 5 and up) $30

Sibling Discount will be applied

When: 7-9:30pm

HALF DAY PROGRAM

OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 1st, 11:45AM-3PM. REGISTER FOR INDIVIDUAL DAYS. DANCE/IMPROV & CRAFTS NEXT DOOR WITH ART ALWAYS (AA) AT THEIR NEW STUDIO!

GROUPS: K-2 AND 3RD-5TH GRADE ROTATE BETWEEN ACTIVITIES

Daily Routine: Pack a lunch & Snack to eat at Ascendance. First 45 minutes, combined lunch & free play, split into groups for class 1 , snack, split into groups for class 2, then dismissal for all from Ascendance

Double the fun starting Mondays in November at Ascendance and Art Always!

This 6 week session is all about creativity and expressive arts for children and their grownups. Dance Instructor Nadine Mathews will kick things off with an energetic movement

class at Ascendance from 9-9:30AM. Using imagery, props, and interactive music, children will learn basic dance concepts.

We’ll take a brief break to transition next door to Art Always for art exploration & fun crafts with owner Lindsay Fogg-Willits. We’re excited to offer a new session of collaborative programming, designed to encourage socialization, exploration, and SO MUCH FUN for kids and caregivers.

NEW! Calling all homeschool families! We are thrilled to offer a new 6 week series of Acro/Jazz Dance! Our beloved instructor Nadine Matthews, a former homeschool parent of two boys, has designed an engaging & energetic class to accommodate all levels of experience. The class combines dance technique with acrobatic movements.

Besides being SO FUN, benefits include increased strength, flexibility and coordination.

Try It Out!

Free first class. Preregistration required to attend sample class. If your child enjoys the class, we will charge for remaining classes. We can’t wait to dance with you!

The session costs $75 ($15×5) We will prorate if you join later in session.

No registration fee.

Classes meet: Nov 4, 11/11 ,11/18, 11/25, 12/2, 12/9
